Okanagan Secures Top Spot in TML A Dick Williams Division Thursday, October 6th , 2061 It wasn't easy, but the Okanagan Lake Monsters are champions of the TML A Dick Williams Division. The club faced challenges to the crown throughout the season, but in the end have edged their division rivals to grab the playoff spot. "Relief. Happiness. Excitement," was how starting pitcher Wayne Balaski responded when asked what he's feeling after the clinch. "We're all looking forward to getting the playoffs started." The team has a 97-66 record, which has wrapped up their 9th division title. Team manager Landy Lu said it would be "extremely satisfying" to be the man at the helm when the team captures its 1st Single A World Series. |
