Oconomowoc Defeats Moonbeam Sunday, October 26th , 2064 The Oconomowoc Five O's were good enough to get past the Moonbeam Martians at Abbey Stadium today and secure the 1st championship in franchise history. "When you wear Five O's on your shirt, you're good at something," Oconomowoc skipper Jorge Murillo told the press. Five O's left fielder Tom Beverly was named MVP of the series after he went .304 with 4 home runs and 10 RBI. "It feels totally incredible," Beverly said. "I could live to 1,000 years old and I'd remember this moment." The new champions capped off a great season with a 9-8 victory over the Martians to win the League Championship Series 4-2.
