Victoria's Parker Snaps Up Player of the Week Monday, June 9th , 2064 Kevin Parker must have thought he was dreaming. First he went on an exceptional week-long batting spree, bashing the ball at a .591 clip, then the Victoria first baseman finds out he has been chosen the league's best performer and gets the THA Player of the Week Award. He told BNN reporters in the postgame, "It was a great week for me. I could see the ball so well. Plus some of the balls seemed to have good eyes, too." For the week Parker batted .591 (13-for-22) with 5 home runs and 14 RBIs. So far on the season, Parker is hitting .341 with 17 home runs, 57 RBIs and 36 runs scored. He has 59 hits and played in 49 games. |
