Oconomowoc Reliever Out Monday, October 15th , 2063 When Alex Rivera was hurt against the Moonbeam Martians, the Oconomowoc Five O's were hopeful that the injury was not serious. However, it proved to be more severe than first thought. The 20-year-old reliever suffered a stretched elbow ligament throwing a pitch in yesterday's game. Team doctors told BNN today that Rivera would miss 9 months of the season. For the season, Rivera has made 23 relief appearances, recorded no saves, compiled a 1-1 won-lost mark and a 5.85 ERA. In pitching 40 innings, he has totaled 33 strikeouts and 39 walks. |
