Players Suspended in Lawmen-Warriors Donnybrook Friday, September 21st , 2063 After an intense confrontation, both the Lawmen Jaheim Whitmore and the Warriors Juan Flores were handed their punishments today. The league commissioner's office issued suspensions for an on-the-field conflict that occurred at a recent Marshall-Moose Jaw game. Jaheim Whitmore will miss 4 games, while Juan Flores was suspended for 6 games. "Sometimes we go too far and have to pay the consequences," Jaheim Whitmore commented later. "Hopefully cooler heads will prevail the next time we play." So far this year, Whitmore is batting .285 with 4 home runs and 25 RBIs. This year, Flores has recorded a 13-5 mark. In 32 starts he has fanned 189 batters in 180 innings with a 5.25 ERA. |
