Cruz Batters Campo for 5 Hits Friday, August 10th , 2063 5 hits in a game is a rare thing, but St. Petersburg's Chris Cruz made it happen against the NoBos. Everything came together at the plate for the 20-year-old right fielder as he collected 5 hits in 6 at-bats -- and helped the Pelicans triumph, 12-1, at Valhalla Summit. "I'm just out there to try and help the team win," Cruz said after the game, "I had some real good at-bats. I made good, solid contact and luckily no one caught 'em." Chris Cruz hit an RBI triple in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit an RBI double in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 5th, singled in the 6th and struck out in the 9th.
