Moonbeam Martians Take Single A World Series Thursday, October 19th , 2062 The Moonbeam Martians ignited a huge celebration as they beat the Memphis Blues 13-10 to win the Single A World Series. Moonbeam won the series 4-1, capturing the title for the 6th time. "We stepped it up at the right time, and now we're the champs," said Moonbeam manager Pedro Pérez. "It's a great feeling." The champs finished the regular season 131-31 and claimed first place in the RCL A Dusty Baker Division. In the jubilant clubhouse after the decisive game, series MVP and third baseman Mike Duffy said the Martians have "great fans and they deserve this." "I am so happy for our city right now," he said.
