Xavier Chavez Injured, Out for Year Thursday, June 15th , 2062 Doctors in Baltimore said Xavier Chavez might not play anymore this year. The Magicians starting pitcher suffered a torn labrum during a game against the Chippewa River Chiefs and will be out for at least 4-5 months. Club officials told BNN they do not expect him to return to the team this season. This season, Chavez has worked 34.2 innings with 29 strikeouts en route to a 3-0 record and a 6.23 ERA. |
