League Suspends McCoy and Kanthak for Fisticuffs Thursday, June 1st , 2062 Ted McCoy of San Antonio and Brian Kanthak of Brisbane were the main participants in a recent bench-clearing brawl and today the league handed out its punishment. McCoy will have to miss 4 games for his part in the brawl, while Kanthak was given 9 games. League officials announced their suspensions today. This year, McCoy has hit at a .247 clip with 23 hits, 3 home runs, 16 RBIs and 16 runs scored. Kanthak has made 1 starts, tossed 43.1 innings, struck out 48 batters and walked 34. His record is 3-1 with a 6.65 ERA and he has limited other teams to a .281 batting average. |
