Ocala First Baseman Out Monday, May 22nd , 2062 A blow for Gary Pollock today -- team doctors confirmed he will miss 4-5 months with a fractured ankle. Pollock suffered the injury running the bases. Although officials from the Ocala Knights are confident he'll make a full recovery, doubts will persist about Pollock's ability to return fully fit with an injury of this nature. This season, Pollock has delivered 15 hits in 51 at-bats for a .294 average with 1 home run. He is getting on base at a .393 clip and his totals also include 12 RBIs and 8 runs scored. This year Pollock has played in 20 games. |
