Superb Year for Keys, Wins Most Valuable Player Award

Mike Keys of the Oconomowoc Five O's had a fine season this year and today he accepted the Most Valuable Player Award for 2061.

The 19-year-old left fielder put up a .343 average and a .468 on-base percentage, piling up 139 hits, 28 doubles, 1 triple, 30 home runs, 106 RBIs and 87 runs scored.

He received 17 first place votes out of a possible 28. Jeremy Domanski of the Ocala Knights finished second in voting with 6 first place votes, while Jon Simpson of the Nichols Gnats finished third.
