Lake Monsters Win Single A League Championship Tuesday, October 11th , 2061 The Okanagan Lake Monsters are on to the Single A World Series after a convincing series win over the Memphis Blues. Okanagan wrapped up the series sweep with a 6-2 win in the last game, to take the series 4-0. "We expected to win and we executed the way we needed to," said Fred Mitchell, who was named series MVP. For the series, Mitchell hit .533 with a .562 on-base percentage. He had 2 home runs, drove in 8 RBI and scored 3 runs. The Okanagan Lake Monsters don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Moose Jaw Warriors - Moonbeam Martians series. Moonbeam leads the series 3 games to 0.
