Ibarra of Sandy Springs Player of the Week Monday, September 29th, 2025 José Ibarra went on a week-long hitting spree against Ford Frick League pitchers and captured the Player of the Week honors. The Sandy Springs first baseman battered the opposition for 12 hits, 3 home runs, 10 RBI and scored 6 runs. He hit .632 and posted a .682 on-base percentage. This season Ibarra is swinging the bat at a .368 rate with 63 hits in 171 at-bats. To date he has hit 13 home runs, scored 40 runs and driven in 36. |
