Lister Laces 3 HR Against Wichita Wednesday, October 1st , 2064 Archie Lister was sending souvenirs to the sun gods all game long in the 6-5 Madison Beehive triumph at Howling Park. The 27-year-old put on a show for fans, launching not one, not two, but three home runs into the stands and powering the Beehive past the Wichita Wolverines. "One homer's good, two's great, three's out of sight," Lister told BNN reporters after the game. "I can't wait until next game. I really feel good at the plate." The third baseman went 3-for-4, rung up 5 RBIs and scored 3 runs on his record-setting day. Archie Lister hit a two-run home run off Jesus Chavez in the 1st, grounded out in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Jesus Chavez in the 6th and hit a two-run home run off Victor Contreras in the 8th. Lister is hitting .287 so far this season with 59 RBIs and 44 runs scored. He has 88 hits including 16 home runs, 41 walks and .381 OBP. |
