Monarchs Out of Time, Out of Playoffs Monday, August 25th , 2064 Marysville Monarchs fans haven't had many glimmers of hope during a dreadful season. It will come as little surprise, then, that the team was mathematically eliminated from postseason contention today. Marysville last appeared in the postseason in 2056. This is their 8th consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 31 times in their 39-year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Monarchs have only made the playoffs once. Marysville has won the League Championship Series 2 times in their history. |
