Melchor Boosts Hit Streak to 20 Games Saturday, August 16th , 2064 The Windsor Royals stopped the Kelowna Rockets, 9-3, and Alberto Melchor collected a base hit yet again. The Windsor center fielder finished with 3 hits to run his consecutive-game hitting streak to 20. "I want to get a hit every time up," a visibly excited Melchor told reporters after the contest. "I want to get a hit every game I play. Right now, I feel like I could take this streak to 100 games." Alberto Melchor hit an RBI single in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, grounded out in the 5th, flied out in the 6th and hit an RBI single in the 8th.
