Medina Gone for Season in Fraser Valley
Monday, June 9th , 2064
The season is finished for Jesus Medina of the Fraser Valley Black Bears. The club announced today that he will forego the rest of the year because of injury. The Black Bears reliever suffered a fractured elbow while throwing a pitch in a recent game against the Marysville Monarchs. Team doctors said it would take at least 8 months to heal.

So far this season, Medina has a 0-1 won-lost record with no saves. He has made 5 relief appearances, logged 6.2 innings and fanned 10 batters while fashioning a 6.75 ERA and allowing the opposition a .286 batting average.
