Bossert Shuts Out Wichita, 4-0 Monday, May 26th , 2064 Goose eggs were the order of the day for the Wichita Wolverines as starter Cory Bossert shut them out, 4-0, at Howling Park. The Carson City pitcher struck out 6 and walked 3 while allowing 3 hits. "Bossert was good but he wasn't flawless," Wichita manager Abel Keller said. "We had a few opportunities to make something happen and we didn't do it. Not to take anything away from Carson City, but this is on us."
