Silicon Valley Loses Dave Recer Tuesday, May 13th , 2064 A blow for Dave Recer today -- team doctors confirmed he will miss 4-5 months with a bone spur in his elbow. Recer suffered the injury throwing a pitch. Although officials from the Silicon Valley Hackers are confident he'll make a full recovery, doubts will persist about Recer's ability to return fully fit with an injury of this nature. So far this year, Recer has been credited with 7 saves, registered a 0.82 ERA and struck out 12 in 11 innings. He also has a 1-1 record. |
