Walton Shackles Wichita Friday, May 2nd , 2064 Rock River Rats starter Marlon Walton really did a number on the Wichita Wolverines, shutting them out, 5-0, on 5 hits in a complete game victory. He issued 2 walks and had 11 strikeouts. "We didn't have good at-bats," said Wichita manager Abel Keller. "I don't make excuses, but when we were playing the game, our energy didn't show. That comes from either extremely good pitching or extremely lousy hitting and seeing as our team has a bunch of good hitters, I have to tip my cap to Walton."
