Niagara Falls-Sandy Springs Brawl, Farrell and Stephens Suspended Thursday, May 1st , 2064 After an intense confrontation, both the Pipe Fitters Jeff Farrell and the Spartans Jeff Stephens were handed their punishments today. The league commissioner's office issued suspensions for an on-the-field conflict that occurred at a recent Niagara Falls-Sandy Springs game. Jeff Farrell will miss 3 games, while Jeff Stephens was suspended for 6 games. "Sometimes we go too far and have to pay the consequences," Jeff Farrell commented later. "Hopefully cooler heads will prevail the next time we play." For the season, Farrell is batting .364 with 12 hits and 4 home runs. He has scored 11 times and batted in 7.
