Diaz Takes Charge, Blanks Frisco, 3-0 Wednesday, April 23rd , 2064 The Frisco Rams were almost helpless in their 3-0 loss to the Murraysville Peacocks and hurler Ricardo Diaz. Diaz kept the Rams confused all game, spinning a 2-hit shutout. "Tip your hat to Diaz," Frisco manager Joe Renken said in a postgame interview. "He kept us off balance all night." The 27-year-old right-hander had 3 walks and 7 strikeouts in a strong performance. "It just happened to be one of those games where even when I made mistakes, they either fouled them off or someone would make a fine defensive play," Diaz said.
