RAA's Best Hurler is Fairbanks Tuesday, October 30th , 2063 The Moose Jaw Canucks have a rising superstar or maybe even a budding Hall-of-Famer in the making. It's Jonathan Fairbanks, this year's RCL AA Cy Young Award selection. This blossoming hurler wowed fans, peers and sportswriters with a fabulous performance. Fairbanks compiled a 20-2 record in 33 starts, tallied 157 strikeouts in 181.2 innings and recorded a 2.82 ERA. Other clubs managed only a .235 batting average against him. He received 28 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. Daniel Castro of the Buzzard's Bay Beetlecats finished second in voting, while Felix Garcia of the Black Mountain Mountaineers finished third.
