Season May Be Over for Steelheads Roundtree
Thursday, September 27th , 2063
The doctors have spoken and Tyshawn Roundtree of the Roaring River Steelheads didn't like what he heard. The 23-year-old reliever is almost certainly gone for the rest of the year and depending on his progress could miss some of next season as well. Roundtree sustained his season-ending injury during the Pacifica Shamrocks game yesterday at McCormick Field. He had to leave the game because he hurt himself while throwing a pitch. Today the Roaring River medical staff reported Roundtree had a torn labrum and would be absent from the lineup for at least 13-14 months.

This year, his stats show Roundtree has no saves in 34 relief appearances with a 5-4 record and 6.24 ERA.
