Marysville Out of Time, Out of Playoffs Saturday, August 25th , 2063 It's back to the drawing board for the Marysville Monarchs. The club's efforts at building a championship contender fell short this year, as the team was officially eliminated from playoff contention today. The Monarchs have made the playoffs 8 times in their 38 years as a DOUBLE A franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 7th in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 2056. In the last 10 seasons, the Monarchs have only made the playoffs once. Marysville has won the Double A World Series 2 times in their history. |
