Vicente Cosme Injured, Out for Year Sunday, August 12th , 2063 The season is finished for Vicente Cosme of the Louisiana Crocodiles. The club announced today that he will forego the rest of the year because of injury. The Crocodiles reliever suffered a partially torn ulnar collateral ligament while throwing a pitch in a recent game against the Silicon Valley Hackers. Team doctors said it would take at least 11 months to heal. This year, Vicente Cosme has made 6 relief appearances, recorded no saves and compiled a 4-4 won-lost mark and a 3.74 ERA. In pitching 65 innings, he has totaled 44 strikeouts and 29 walks. |
