Tuesday, July 10th , 2063
Windsor Royals center fielder Randy Ainsworth had a magnificent game against the Adirondack Lumberjacks, rocketing three balls out of Paul Bunyan Field to help the Royals win, 11-0.
"I got some good pitches to hit and I creamed them," he said after the game. "The first was a big, fat fastball and the last two were hanging curves. All three were mistakes."
For the game, Ainsworth went 5-for-6 with 7 RBIs and 4 runs scored.
"There's a fine line between hitting home runs and line drives," Windsor manager Luis Hernández said later. "Seems like Randy found his home run stroke today."
Randy Ainsworth hit a two-run home run off Chris Courtney in the 1st, hit a three-run home run off Chris Courtney in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 7th, hit a two-run home run off Mike Wynkoop in the 8th and struck out in the 9th.
Thus far this year, Ainsworth is batting .396 with 6 home runs, 24 RBIs and 22 runs scored.
