Whiteside Selected Player of the Week Monday, July 9th , 2063 His hard work and hustle paid off this week. The hard-working and hard-playing Steve Whiteside was rewarded with the TML AA Player of the Week honors. The scrappy Sandy Springs Spartans catcher hit .692 while collecting 9 hits in 13 at-bats, 1 home run and 8 RBIs. So far on the season, Whiteside is hitting .299 with 4 home runs, 28 RBIs and 28 runs scored. He has 53 hits and played in 57 games. |
