Farquharson Punishes ACL Pitchers This Week Monday, August 14th, 2028 21-year-old Mike Farquharson made a few Killeen headlines during this past week as the rookie third baseman proved he could compete at the plate with his high-school idols. He captured the attention of fans, journalists and Alexander Cartwright League officials last week and today took home Player of the Week honors for his effort. He cracked 17 hits in 34 at-bats to put up a .500 average. Farquharson collected 1 home run, 10 RBIs and scored 12 runs. To date Farquharson has chalked up a .285 average with 13 home runs, driven in 77 runs and scored 59 times. |
