Mountaineers Tino Lost for Year Saturday, June 3rd , 2062 The season is finished for Joey Tino of the Black Mountain Mountaineers. The club announced today that he will forego the rest of the year because of injury. The Mountaineers starting pitcher suffered shoulder inflammation while throwing a pitch in a recent game against the Wauwatosa Indians. Team doctors said it would take at least 5 months to heal. For the year, Tino has a 5-5 record with a 3.86 ERA in 12 starts. |
