Spokane's Walker Winner, TAA Best Hitter in May Thursday, June 1st , 2062 For a rookie just breaking in, Dan Walker certainly put together a successful month. It was good enough to win the TAA Batter of the Month award for May. The 18-year-old second baseman for the Spokane Bulldogs hit .318 with 11 home runs, 22 RBIs and 20 runs scored. Walker is hitting .330 this season with 12 home runs, 26 RBIs and 25 runs scored. He has 33 hits in 100 at-bats. |
