Year Over for Cornhuskers Soto Tuesday, May 16th , 2062 Jose Soto will soon find out from his doctors if his season will continue. The first diagnosis was not too positive and indicated the DeKalb reliever could miss the remainder of the year. Soto was injured while throwing a pitch in the Cornhuskers-Rats clash at The Corn Crib recently. Doctors said he has a stretched elbow ligament and would be out a minimum of 10 months. Thus far this season, Soto has compiled a 0-1 record, made 25 relief appearances with no saves, hurling 29.2 innings and striking out 22. He has held the opposition to a .229 batting average with a 3.03 ERA. |
