Sunday, May 14th , 2062
Sam Bridgman of the Niagara Falls Pipe Fitters and Sam Marshall of the Louisiana Crocodiles will be on the sidelines for a few days. They have been suspended for 4 and 8 games respectively by the league office for causing the bench-emptying free-for-all at the recent Pipe Fitters-Crocodiles game at The Swamp.
Neither player had any comment about the suspensions. Both clubs told BNN Bridgman and Marshall will begin serving them soon.
For the season, Bridgman has produced 15 hits in 42 at-bats for a .357 average with 3 home runs and gotten on base at a .471 clip.
To date this season, Marshall has a record of 2 wins and 3 losses and a 5.03 ERA. He has appeared in 8 games and struck out 33 in 39.1 innings.
