Ken Aubin Injured, Out for Season Thursday, May 4th , 2062 Ken Aubin at first refused to leave today's Madison-Boston game after he suffered a ruptured ulnar collateral ligament while throwing a pitch. But his manager convinced him not to be foolish. "I want to be on the field," the feisty Boston starting pitcher said. "I'll play through just about anything." Given time to reflect on the situation, he knew it was in his best interest to get immediate treatment. The injury is expected to keep Aubin out of action for 14 months. This year, Aubin has recorded a 4-0 mark. In 6 starts he has fanned 49 batters in 41.2 innings with a 2.59 ERA. |
