Madison Blanks Bishops, White Wins Sunday, April 23rd , 2062 It wasn't easy but the Madison Beehive made it look that way. Starter George White shut out the Evanston Bishops despite having what he later called "sub-par" stuff, and the Madison Beehive cruised to victory, 8-0. White allowed only 2 hits and rang up 7 strikeouts but insisted later that he did not deserve primary credit for the win. "It didn't feel quite right today, but I got a lot of help to get through," he said. "I trusted my catcher and the guys behind me bailed me out more than once when I screwed up."
