Rats Move on to Double A World Series Monday, October 10th , 2061 The Rock River Rats are on to the Double A World Series after a convincing series win over the Evanston Bishops. Rock River wrapped up the series sweep with a 1-0 win in the last game, to take the series 4-0. "We expected to win and we executed the way we needed to," said Joey McCarthy, who was named series MVP. For the series, McCarthy hit .471 with a .500 on-base percentage. He had 2 home runs, drove in 2 RBI and scored 5 runs. The Rock River Rats don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Moose Jaw Canucks - Silicon Valley Hackers series. Moose Jaw leads the series 2 games to 1.
