Antioch's Beauregard to Miss 8 Months Friday, May 16th , 2064 Steve Beauregard will soon find out from his doctors if his season will continue. The first diagnosis was not too positive and indicated the Antioch starting pitcher could miss the remainder of the year. Beauregard was injured while throwing a pitch in the Coal Miners-Ambition clash at Ken Griffey Jr. Plaza recently. Doctors said he has bone chips in his elbow and would be out a minimum of 8 months. On his stats sheet for the year Beauregard shows a 2-4 record, 8 starts, 52 innings, 31 strikeouts and a 4.50 ERA. |
