Morley Parks 3 HR in the Seats Saturday, October 6th , 2063 Michael Morley was sending souvenirs to the sun gods all game long in the 12-5 Calgary Cowboys triumph at Cowboys Field. The 19-year-old put on a show for fans, launching not one, not two, but three home runs into the stands and powering the Cowboys past the Calgary Hitmen. "One homer's good, two's great, three's out of sight," Morley told BNN reporters after the game. "I can't wait until next game. I really feel good at the plate." The catcher went 3-for-4, rung up 7 RBIs and scored 3 runs on his record-setting day. Michael Morley hit a two-run home run off Alex Duran in the 1st, grounded out in the 3rd, hit a two-run home run off Javier Rios in the 4th and hit a three-run home run off Javier Rios in the 6th. So far on the season, Morley is hitting .310 with 29 home runs, 99 RBIs and 88 runs scored. He has 147 hits and played in 123 games. |
