League Issues 4-Game Suspensions for Brawl Tuesday, September 25th , 2063 Bad blood could be brewing between the Flash and the Racers. In yesterday's contest at Top of the Hill, Fairfield's Nick Frenz and Bowling Green's Joe Okocha caused the benches to empty when they went toe-to-toe against one another. Only Frenz and Okocha were ejected by the umpires. Upon hearing that the two players had been suspended 4 games each by the league office, harsh comments came from both clubhouses. League officials have warned both organizations about the consequences of premeditated retaliation. This year, Frenz has hit at a .294 clip with 101 RBIs, 29 home runs and 90 runs scored. So far this year, Okocha has delivered 2 saves. In 24 relief appearances he has 49 strikeouts in 61.2 innings with a 4.96 ERA and 3 wins and 1 loss. |
