Schwegler Scorches Hens for 3 HR Monday, September 24th , 2063 Sometimes it just isn't enough. Chris Schwegler had an outstanding day at Cowboys Field for the Calgary Cowboys, ripping three home runs. Nonetheless, the Cowboys fell to the Hendersonville Hens, 10-8. Schwegler had a feast at the plate, pounding everything thrown his way. The 23-year-old center fielder banged out 3 hits in 4 at-bats, scored 3 times and batted in 3 runs. Despite his sensational performance, the Cowboys were not able to hold off the Hens. "Baseball is a funny game," Schwegler said in the post-game interview, "You can't dwell on the reasons for the loss. I'm sure there will be days when I go 0-for-4 and we win. These things tend to even out." Chris Schwegler hit a solo-shot off Cesar Gutierrez in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Cesar Gutierrez in the 3rd, flied out in the 5th, hit a solo-shot off Rob Cataldo in the 6th and walked in the 8th.
