The 35-year-old tantalized the Pasadena Bumblebees with crisp curves and changeups, mixed in with just enough fastballs to keep the batters honest, shutting them out, 3-0. "He had the changeup working," Pasadena manager David Williams said in postgame comments. "You knew it was coming and you still grounded out -- and then he threw it even slower." The Cozumel hurler had 6 strikeouts, gave up 2 walks and surrendered 2 hits in his complete-game effort.
