Reid's Condition Worse, Suffers Another Setback Friday, August 31st , 2063 The Baton Rouge Outlaws will have to do without starting pitcher Chad Reid even longer than expected. Team doctors say that Reid's recovery from a herniated disc has not gone well and more time will be needed to treat it successfully. The Outlaws trainer indicated it would be at least 2 weeks before they would consider activating Reid. Thus far this season, Reid has posted a 5-8 record, started 22 games, struck out 78 batters in 125 innings and compiled a 5.69 ERA. |
