Waimea Playoff Hopes Officially Zero Thursday, August 30th , 2063 It's back to the drawing board for the Waimea Wind. The club's efforts at building a championship contender fell short this year, as the team was officially eliminated from playoff contention today. This is the club's 7th playoff miss in a row. They last appeared in the postseason in 2056. In total, the Wind have missed the playoffs 40 times in their 52-year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Wind have made the playoffs 3 times. Waimea last won the Triple A World Series in 2053. |
