Yafeu and Kavanagh Fight, Get Suspended Sunday, August 26th , 2063 Lewis Yafeu of the State College Swallowtails and Dave Kavanagh of the Peoria Caterpillars will be on the sidelines for a few days. They have been suspended for 2 and 6 games respectively by the league office for causing the bench-emptying free-for-all at the recent Swallowtails-Caterpillars game at Stars Field. Neither player had any comment about the suspensions. Both clubs told BNN Yafeu and Kavanagh will begin serving them soon. Yafeu's current batting average stands at .296 and he has chalked up 11 home runs and 30 RBIs. In 17 starts this season, Kavanagh has gathered 8 wins while suffering 2 losses. He has pitched 103.2 innings, allowed 106 hits, struck out 65 and has a 3.56 ERA. |
