Un-four-gettable: Frank Hits for Cycle
Saturday, August 4th , 2063
Steve Frank did everything he could for the Calgary Cowboys -- literally.

The 27-year-old left fielder hit a single, a double, a triple and a home run for the Cowboys, going for the cycle and helping them get past the Bowling Green Racers, 10-7, at Top of the Hill.

"Yeah, I was some kind of hitter in this game," Frank reflected later. "It was like all I had to do was close my eyes and swing the bat."

In a game headed for the record books, Frank banged out 4 hits in 5 at-bats and totaled 4 runs batted in and 2 runs scored. Speaking with the press about the feat, he attributed it to "a lot of luck."

"A triple is so hard to hit," he said. "To just decide to get one in a game when you need it for a cycle, it's impossible. Usually something weird has to happen, the ball kicking past an outfielder or somebody falling down. There's a ton of luck in hitting for a cycle."

Steve Frank singled in the 1st, hit a three-run home run off Jesus Giron in the 3rd, tripled in the 5th, grounded out in the 7th and hit an RBI double in the 9th.

Currently Frank is batting .304 with 87 hits and 7 home runs. He has knocked in 49 runs and scored 60 times.
