Iraheta Shines, Shuts Out Waimea, 1-0

The Waimea Wind were almost helpless in their 1-0 loss to the Fort Worth Cats and hurler Danny Iraheta. Iraheta kept the Wind confused all game, spinning a 6-hit shutout.
"Tip your hat to Iraheta," Waimea manager Orlando González said in a postgame interview. "He kept us off balance all night."
The 29-year-old right-hander had 1 walk and 1 strikeout in a strong performance.
"It just happened to be one of those games where even when I made mistakes, they either fouled them off or someone would make a fine defensive play," Iraheta said. "It was just one of those games that things went my way."
