Wednesday, June 20th, 2029
Anyone wearing a glove and sitting in the bleachers for today's Escape-Sabercats game had a pretty good chance at snagging a home run ball.
Scranton first baseman Theodore Brennan thrice sent eager fans scurrying to catch a souvenir, helping lead the Scranton to a 24-5 win over Mdewanketon.
"Hey, the three homers were great, but I'm just trying to help my ballclub," Brennan said later. "I'm not going out there thinking I need another home run."
Brennan was 3-for-5 on the day with 6 runs batted in.
Theodore Brennan walked in the 1st, flied out in the 2nd, hit a two-run home run off Dan Lewis in the 3rd, grounded out in the 4th, hit a two-run home run off Alfonso Martínez in the 6th, walked in the 7th and hit a two-run home run off Shi-fa Wong in the 8th.
Currently Brennan has 15 home runs and a .360 batting average.
