Antioch Comes up Empty Against Witten Friday, July 20th , 2063 The Antioch Coal Miners were almost helpless in their 5-0 loss to the Indianapolis Ambition and hurler Will Witten. Witten kept the Coal Miners confused all game, spinning a 4-hit shutout. "Tip your hat to Witten," Antioch manager Jordan Hay said in a postgame interview. "He kept us off balance all night." The 24-year-old left-hander had 2 walks and 7 strikeouts in a strong performance. "It just happened to be one of those games where even when I made mistakes, they either fouled them off or someone would make a fine defensive play," Witten said.
