D'Ambrosio Grabs TAAA Reliever of the Year Award Wednesday, November 1st , 2062 At the age of 18, Nate D'Ambrosio says he still has a lot to learn about life in TRIPLE A. But he certainly seems to be a quick study, as the Antioch Coal Miners reliever was better than all others this year and has captured the 2062 TML AAA Reliever of the Year Award. "I hope to win this a few more times before all is said and done in my career," the Granite City, Illinois native said. For the season, D'Ambrosio had 41 saves in 64 relief appearances, which totaled 69.1. He fanned 66 betters, while walking 18 and put up a record of 6-7 to go with his 2.99 ERA. He received 27 first place votes out of a possible 28. Jeremy Sims of the Amarillo Armadillos finished second in voting with 1 first place vote, while Israel Sanchez of the Albany Firebirds finished third.
