Muskies Come up Short of Playoffs Thursday, October 5th , 2062 The Madison Muskies season has ultimately ended in disappointment. After staying in the hunt until the final days of the season, Madison has now been officially eliminated from playoff qualification. "We were so close," starting pitcher Brandon Hyde said wistfully. This is the club's 8th playoff miss in a row. They last appeared in the postseason in 2054. In total, the Muskies have missed the playoffs 47 times in their 51-year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Muskies have only made the playoffs once. |
